TUNICA, Miss. (Feb. 17, 2026) — Gold Strike Casino Resort, the Mid-South’s premier casino resort destination, will welcome the multi-platinum rock band Hoobastank to the stage at 8 p.m. Friday, July 3, at Gold Strike Theatre inside the casino.

Hoobastank rose to global prominence with the release of its breakthrough single “The Reason,” which has become one of the most enduring rock anthems of the 2000s. The song has surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify, currently exceeding 1.35 billion, earning a spot in the platform’s elite Billions Club — a distinction shared by just over 600 songs from artists such as AC/DC, The Beatles, Whitney Houston and Elton John.

In December 2023, the band marked the 20th anniversary of its sophomore album, “The Reason,” which followed the success of its 2001 self-titled debut. That debut featured the hit singles “Crawling in the Dark,” “Running Away” and “Remember Me,” all of which were later certified RIAA platinum. “The Reason” further cemented Hoobastank’s place in rock history, propelled by its chart-topping title track.

Two decades after its release, “The Reason” continues to resonate with longtime fans while reaching a new generation of listeners. The song’s official music video has surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube, placing the band among a select group of artists to reach that milestone across platforms.

Hoobastank has also experienced a resurgence in recent years through the viral #NotAPerfectPerson trend on TikTok and placements in popular television series. The band’s music has been featured in Netflix’s “Beef and Building the Band,” Amazon’s “The Boys” and Peacock’s “We Are Lady Parts,” helping drive renewed chart success and discovery.

Tickets start at $39.50 and go on sale Feb. 20.
