• Q:How old do you have to be to make bets in the sportsbook?

  A:You must be 21 years old to gamble.
• Q:Where do I make sports bets?

  A:You can make your bets in the sportsbook located on the casino floor with one of the writers or you can use one of the 10 kiosks located throughout the casino.
• Q:Is mobile wagering legal in Mississippi?

  A:At this time, mobile wagering is not legal in the state of Mississippi.
• Q:How do I cash a winning ticket if I live out of town?

  A:If you have a winning ticket and are not able to cash it out before you leave, there are instructions on the back how to mail it in. It 2-3 weeks to receive payment in the mail.
• Q:How long do I have to cash out a winning ticket?

  A:A winning ticket is valid for 365 days from the day of the event.
• Q:Can I use a credit card?

  A:As with tables and slots, you cannot use a credit card. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, winning tickets, and Gold Strike casino chips.
• Q:I have never made a bet, what do I need to know?

  A:Odds sheets are available that have all the information you need. Each team is assigned a number. You will tell the writer that number, what type of bet, and how much you would like to wager. Any member of the sportsbook staff will be happy to help you.
• Q:What types of bets are there?

  A:The most popular forms of betting are straight bets and parlays. A straight bet is win you are betting on team to win or cover the spread. If that happens then you win. A parlay is when you have multiple teams on one ticket. They all must win for you to win the bet. Parlays pay better, but harder to win.
• Q:Do you offer horse racing?

  A:Yes. Gold Strike is the only casino in Tunica that offers horse racing. We simulcast the most popular tracks in the country. Betting is available at the window or on one of our 4 horse kiosks.
• Q:When is the sportsbook open?

  A:The sportsbook is open 7 days a week. We open at 10:00 am on Mon-Fri and at 9:00 am on Sat-Sun.
