TUNICA, Miss. (March 2, 2026) — Gold Strike Casino Resort, the Mid-South’s premier casino resort destination, will bring the genius of Bowie to the Gold Strike Theatre with David Brighton’s Space Oddity, a David Bowie tribute show, at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25.

 

Credited as one of the world’s premier David Bowie tribute productions, David Brighton’s Space Oddity delivers a full-scale theatrical concert experience celebrating the iconic music and personas of the legendary artist. Brighton’s uncanny ability to channel Bowie’s voice, movement and style has earned praise from industry legends, including producer Harry Maslin, who worked with Bowie on the “Young Americans” and “Station to Station” albums.

 

The Space Oddity production showcases Bowie’s extensive musical legacy through elaborate staging, dynamic costume changes and meticulously recreated vocal arrangements. From Ziggy Stardust’s glam-rock edge to Bowie’s stadium-filling pop anthems, the show captures the energy, artistry and innovation that defined his career.

 

Backing Brighton is the Space Oddity Band, a group of world-class musicians whose collective experience includes touring and recording with artists such as America, Foreigner, Eddie Money, Gene Loves Jezebel and The Bay City Rollers. Together, they bring depth, precision and authenticity to Bowie’s diverse catalog.

 

Brighton performed alongside Bowie in international television commercials and portrayed the rock icon in film and television projects, including appearances on VH1 and in the Warner Bros. feature film “Watchmen.” He has also been a featured performer in the long-running Legends in Concert production in Las Vegas, and has performed with celebrated artists such as Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Kenny Loggins, Chicago, Three Dog Night and Barry Manilow.
